My name is Joslynne Marie, I have lived in Sioux Falls since 2011. I moved here from Minnesota with my Mom. I have been a creative ever since I can remember. All the toys that I would get growing up would always be arts and crafts related. I became more serious about my artwork when I moved from original high school in Minnesota to Tri-Valley High School in Colton, SD. When I made the move, I enrolled myself in my first serious Fine Arts class, as my old school did not take the arts very seriously. My art teacher, Mandy Dewitt, helped me fall in love with Art. She taught me how to use different mediums and taught me many other skills, that I still use to this day.
After High School, I attended a year at Southeast Technical Institute (Sioux Falls) for Graphic Design. I completed one year of my Associates Degree there. After attending one year of technical school, I decided I wanted to pursue a Bachelor's Degree at the University of South Dakota (Vermillion, SD) for an Art degree. My college career came to an end in 2017 and after I would dive in head first with my main focus on Art.
My main interests include traveling, pop culture, and music. Which you can see is an inspiration to most of my artwork. My art abilities include but are not limited to; Drawing, Painting, Sculpting, jewelry-making, textile working and even baking! You can mostly catch me drawing up a quick city skyline, or some kind of doodle related to music. I also do commissions as well as original art. So, if you ever find yourself looking for that one of a kind piece, that you cannot seem to find anywhere, I am only a call away!
